Wat Pikuntong - Luang Phor Pae

Luang Phor Pae was born in Singburi Province,Thailand in BE2448 ( AD 1905 ) on January 1 . He was the elder son in family and he had 3 younger brothers and sisters. In his 11 years old, he learnt Pali from Luang Phor Phun of Wat Pikuntong, Singburi. He moved to Wat Chalasongklon, Bangkok in his year of 14 and study from Luang Phor Chum for two years then return to Wat Pikuntong then again Wat Chalasongklon until year of 22.  He became official odain at Wat Pikuntong.  Luang Phor Pae keep on studying from different temples until BE2474, people in Singburi invited him back to Wat Pikuntong taking over Abbott position.  At that time, Wat Pikuntong being very old and not in good condition. In BE2484, Luang Phor Pae started making a lot of amulets and religious articles for fund raising.  All money from followers were gone to renovate Wat Pikuntong as well as hospital and schools in Singburi Province. At the same time, a lot of people rented amulets from Luang Phor Pae and found very helpful on prevent danger as well as strengthen wealth. Luang Phor Pae's amulet being very very popular.  Luang Phor Pae passed away on February 10 BE2542 ( AD 1999 ).  Nowadays, his amulets getting less and less in the market.
