Luang Phor Thalung, original name Nai Thalung Kamonbig. He born in March 6 of BE2466. His father is a poor farmer named Naitap. The whole family of Luang Phor Thalung are very hard working on farming. When the time, Luang Phor Thalung only achieved a primary education however he is very hard working and learn by himself, especially on woodwork and construction. Also, he is study very hard on the old literature of old Cambodia. In the year of BE2520, Luang Phor Thalung entered into monkhood at Wat Chalunpham. After three years study of Buddhism, Luang Phor Thalung achieved position of Senior Monk. He further studied from some senior monks in the temple, he learnt a lot of superstitions magic. During BE2537 to 2540, Luang Phor Thalung devoted himself as disciple under Luang Phor Koon of Wat Banrai. Luang Phor Koon like him very much. When the Abbott of Wat Chalunpham dead, Luang Phor Thalung being the successor of the Abbot of Wat Chalunpham by votes from the people in the district. Wat Chalunpham was built by the first Abbott - Luang Phor Kar and the local people in around 2443. During a hundred year, the wooden ceremony hall being very old. The in-charge of Wat Chalunpham together with Luang Phor Thalung intended to build a new ceremony hall. One night, Luang Phor Thalung dream he was in the ceremony hall and saw the first Abbott. First Abbott, Luang Phor Kar told him not to destruct the old ceremony hall. Just renovate it and hold all important buddhism meeting in the hall. Luang Phor Thalung asked Luang Phor Kar that there is no material for renovate. Luang Phor Kar said he will help. After that Luang Phor Thalung starte renovate the ceremony hall part by part however its not finish yet. Luang Phor Thalung always dream Luang Phor Kar and he seems got something to tell. One day, Luang Phor Thalung told the dream to the in-charge of Wat Chalunpham and they finally agreed to ask for donation from the public in order to finalize the renovation of the ceremony hall. Luang Phor Thalung finally decided to make one set of amulet which used the symbol of spider (which was he dream frequently) as the style of the amulet in order to return to those people whom made donation. Luang Phor Thalung said this set of amulets can help the people on their business, prevent of evil, good luck.
The sets of Wealth Spider Amulets were chanted by 25 senior monks at Wat Chalunpham on May 14 of BE2546. Those 25 senior monks included Luang Phor Koon, Luang Phor Pun, Luang Phor Hung, Luang Phor Ding, Luang Phor Yit and Luang Pu Hom, etc.
During the most reent visit to Wat Chalunpham in October, 2006. We got to know that Luang Phor Taluang was passed away in August, 2006.
